Here are four products I use frequently to highlight my eyes, although any shimmery white /gold /champagne shade will do.
The colours, left to right, are:
- Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Sugar Frost - this is the shimmeriest of them all. I love wearing this when I'm really trying to draw attention to my eyes. Because the colour leans warm, I tend to wear it mainly with warmer coloured eyeshadows like browns and bronzes. You can see this in action in THIS post here.
- MAC eyeshadow in Phloof - this is a repurchase as it's one of those perfect highlight shades, not too glittery and with the right amount of sheen to draw attention to the eyes. It goes with all eyeshadow shades, but I tend to use it when wearing cooler colours like greys and navies.
- MAC eyeshadow in Retrospeck - I love this shade, the white gold is so flattering and it's less shimmery than the Laura Mercier caviar stick, so it makes it an ideal everyday highlight with brown smokey eyes.
- NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk - this has no shimmer whatsoever, but the milky white shade is enough to brighten the whole area and help me fake 12 hours sleep.

I hardly ever use inner corner highlights, barely remember to use it under my eyebrows. I'm too lazy! Saying that, Phloof looks fab!
ReplyDeleteLove the inner corner highlight on you, looks amazing! x
ReplyDeleteYou recreated that look so well! I have a really dry inner eye area so its really hard for me to find products that don't look clumpy in there!
