Grey nail polish is so hard to pull off. It needs just the right amount of warmth and creaminess otherwise it can give you corpse hands. These 5 nail polishes are perfect if you want to try the grey nail polish trend without looking like you're going to a Halloween party.
- Essie Chinchilly
- OPI Did you ear about Van Gogh
- Dior Gris Trianon
- Australis Kick The Bucket
- L'Oreal Soft Chinchilla*
Here's how L'Oreal Chinchilla looks on my nails. I'm wearing 3 coats and no top coat. I love how creamy it looks. It's neutral but with a twist. Definitely a work appropriate shade but also fashionable enough to wear to the bar.
What do you think of grey nail polish? Would you wear it?

Hi Lily, I think it would look great with blues and purples, also cool toned reds would work well with silvery-grey shades. :)
DeleteGreat post! I'm still looking for the perfect gray.. Will have to check the Australis' one! :P
ReplyDeleteI have Zoya Harley which is a lovely shimmery neutral grey, and Mode Cosmetics VIP, which is a cool grey creme. I am now imagining a gradient with the two... hmm!
